We all enjoy movies and we all enjoy food. What could be better than great food-themed films? Grab some popcorn, because these films will not only make you hungry, but they will also inspire you to rush to the kitchen and start cooking.

Julie & Julia
This is one film that will not disappoint any foodie, especially since it stars famed chef and author Julia Child. Based on a true story, this film will make you want to pick up a copy of Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking. The 2009 dramedy demonstrates that only one thing can outperform Academy Award winner Meryl Streep: Julia Child’s famously delicious and complex Bourguignon. This is an absolute must-see!
Eat, Pray, Love
Eat, Pray, Love is a lovely story about self-discovery. It follows the journey of a newly divorced woman through Italy, India, and Bali. Despite the fact that the film is two hours long, don’t let that put you off Julia Roberts and her amazing food. It’s not only a brilliant film, but it’ll make your mouth water.
Ratatouille
Although this animated film may be geared toward a younger audience, it is a lot of fun for everyone. You might not be drawn to the idea of a rat in the kitchen at first, but this 2007 film will definitely leave you with a good feeling. Remy (the rat) aspires to be a famous French chef. But he soon realizes that people despise rodents and will never eat a meal prepared by him.
Chef
What more could you ask for in a feel-good, fun film with a lot of good music and food? Chef Carl Casper attempts to restart his career after losing his job at a popular restaurant. He not only learns a lot along the way, but he also becomes much closer to his family. In the process, he grows closer to his family. Even if you’ve never heard of it, you should watch it right away!
No Reservations
We’re all aware that many films aren’t exactly Oscar-worthy, but that doesn’t mean they’re not good films, right? Here’s another fantastic film for you foodies. This romantic/drama follows a perfectionist chef who is struggling to raise her late sister’s young daughter. At the same time, a new overly enthusiastic chef threatens to take over her kitchen with his free-spirited ways.
Chocolat
One of the most popular food-related films ever made. In a rural village in France, a single mother and her 6-year-old daughter open a chocolate shop. Of course, the villagers are extremely critical of them. But, fortunately for them, they gradually win the hearts of the people in their village. Perfect for those who enjoy sweets and chocolate!
